Can someone tell me how to make frieze boards over the splayed sides of bay windows? I tried using a solid polyline but it doesn't seem to work. I created an elevation perpendicular to the splayed wall but can't get it to work. No problem making the frieze board over the flat front of the bay but cannot do the sides. Chief X11 user. Thanks. I've noticed on a number of occasions that sometimes I have an interior cheek wall that has no gypsum board on the end....the wood stud is showing. How do I fix this and why does this happen? X10 user. Thanks. Mark

ok, I was able to fix this by moving the last recognized interior wall to the exterior, replacing the old exterior wall.

Hi Mark, Maybe we're close. unfortunately none of the lines are parallel BUT the two lines where you have placed your point are perpendicular. Does that help? Mark

yes, the three lines are fixed and I have a known sized rectangle that must be positioned.

For some reason the foundation overall dimensions are different from the first floor overall dimensions. It's showing that both walls are aligned with no "align" symbol. It looks like the first floor walls are dimensioned to the outside of the studs. I can't figure out why they don't line up. X10 user. Any ideas??? Thanks. Mark

Does anyone know if it's possible to make the window frame one color and the exterior trim another color? It looks like the only option is to choose a "sash" color that combines the frame and trim. I see you can offset the casing from the frame but no color choice for the frame. Any thoughts? Thanks. Mark

Hi all, Perry, I had already read both of these topics but it didn't help me. It seems that the only way to do this is to have "retaining walls creating the "perimeter" of the terraced area and use polyline solids for all of the interior walls. "Elevation region" under "Elevation Data" is useful but not the solution. I also tried "Rectangular Feature" under "Feature" but also not the solution. If I get a chance. I'll send a drawing of the final product to see if there are any other suggestions. Thanks. Mark

Does anyone know how to create terraced retaining walls? This is driving me crazy. I've tried everything but nothing seems to work Any tutorials on this? I've looked in the reference manual, training videos, knowledge base, etc., Nothing.
