Hi, does anyone know if there's a way to make a door like this (the full-height one)? I haven't found a 3-panel cabinet door in the library. Can I add horizontal support rails somehow? Thanks!

Does anyone know how to move the panel portion of the railing on stairs? I can manually adjust the horizontal offset for the top and bottom rails, and the newel posts, but haven't found anything that moves the panel (shown in yellow in the plan view). If anyone has an answer, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

I am drawing winder stairs using stair landings as the (wedge-shaped) winders at the top. I am sure I've done it this way before. This time, Chief automatically draws walls below the landings and I can't find a way to remove them! Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the walls? Thank you! Karen

Thanks to both of you for your help! I was able to get it almost perfect by playing with the wall layer intersection tool, and by making the tall wall also be a pony wall. I still haven't been able to get the water table to model correctly. To answer your question, Solver, I am not exactly sure what the builder is going to do there. I had planned to model it with the water table just ending flush with the front of the tall stone wall.

Does anyone have experience with this, or know how to fix it? Maybe it's two separate issues. My stone on the main floor works correctly, showing that the edge of the brick wraps around the corner. Upstairs it isn't modeling correctly. Then on the 2nd image I am showing that there is also a 9" pony wall with stone that matches the stone cladding on the foundation. The pony wall stone also has a problem intersecting with the main wall stone. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks! Karen

Thanks for the feedback. The video was very informative! But I still can't get thumbnails to show up, whether I have tile mode or list mode chosen. Anybody else dealing with this? I can't see the image until I click on the individual blue square. Very frustrating!

Can anyone tell me how to get the thumbnails of anything to show up in the X15 filter results? It must be simple but I just can't find it.. I can only get CA logo to show up.

Can anyone tell me how I could get a new window to model correctly to match these historic windows? I haven't found any way to make an arched lintel (to match the black arch). Any thoughts? Now that I think of it, maybe I can leave it as I have it drawn with a straight lintel and just make a 3D solid to go over it in an arch shape..I'll still post it in case anyone knows of a better way to do it.

Does anyone know how to customize a garage door? I am using a standard library door in my garage and the lites need to be pulled down one "panel". Any ideas?

This morning I downloaded the X13 Update that was available. Now my mouse is acting weird. When I use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in, it jumps too far even with one "click" on the scroll wheel. I assume this is a function of the new update. Has anyone else had that problem? Does anyone know where to change how much your scroll wheel zooms in?

Wondering if someone can help me.. I want the floor and roof trusses to show up in the section views but not in the elevation views. Both of them use 1/4" scale annotations. Is there a way to differentiate between the layer sets for the section view and elevation view? In X12 I used to do it but can't seem to find a way now in X13. I'm sure it's simple. Thank you.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. It will only be on the corners of the house, so I will have to make separate roof planes at the corners. I appreciate the input! Karen

Does anyone have any input on what would be the best way to draw this type of eave? I don't want to be fighting the program the whole time. Not sure if I should just draw a standard roof and use polylines to create the extra tall "fascia" or if it should be part of a wall or roof or...?

Do any of you know how to remove the ridge cap line from my elevations? I haven't been able to find anything already posted. My elevations are too busy... I figured out how to remove the roof texture but not the cap. I know I also need to play around with the line weights, so if anyone has information on that I would appreciate it also!

I was able to add it to my tool bar using Tools/ Toolbars and Hotkeys/ Customize Toolbars. Just a little FYI, I was using the OOB toolbar and it wasn't there... Thanks!

Hello- Does anyone know how to update layout page information in X13? I always had a button in my tool bar that I used to edit the information for the page.. the macros in the title block would update to show the new information. I can't find the button any longer... It looks like the button that is still there, but now the button says "Modify the layout lines in an elevation..." Any help would be appreciated!

Has anybody run into this before? When I copy an appliance into a cabinet I end up with it set back about 2' in the renderings. It shows up correctly in the plan view. This happens if I add them to full height cabinets as well as base cabinets. I wonder if I have some setting wrong? Thank you!
