  1. Anyone else in the Southwest that has a library image of a spiral carved post or column like the one shown below they'd be willing to share? CA Premiere X12 iMac 10.14.6
  2. And also explaining in it that the repeat is coming from the tub — one of those blocks in my block that was not registering!
  3. OMG Alaskan! I can't thank you enough for showing me all the steps! I have confidence I can do this and am ever grateful to ALL of you!
  4. Wow! thanks for the youtube Eric! I will diligently go about following your instructions to the best of my best ability. I grew up thinking I wasn't very intelligent and I'm sure that's how I look here so I appreciate all of y'all's patience and care! And just ignore what may seem like female emotionallity — it's what I am!
  5. I have so many entries in the Library that I'm not sure what I sent you and what is there. I tried in one to enter -21" and the band went up the wall. I've delisted all of the entries and will import another material, put it in a Custom backsplash and play with vertical offset . . . again. I understand the repeat but I don't understand why there isn''t some approximation of math to use when adjusting the offset.
  6. Custom backsplash doesn't help — still comes in off. And when I do the vertical offset at a negative, the tile moves up instead of moving down. When I look at the image and guess how much to do the vertical offset, am I missing something? In other words, the diagonal tiles are 8.25 so I look to see how much of a tile is showing below the gold band and then input that guess.
  7. I'll try the Custom backspl and see if that helps.
  8. I have every time I change the vertical offset but I'll copy yours even though It's still not showing up correctly.
  9. Yes. And that is what you see in my first screenshot at right in the Library. Am I making it more difficult?
  10. I'll be very interested to hear what you find out and not surprised at my ineptness or not! tile.calibz
  11. Well that is just too damn much trouble — experimented with all kinds of numbers but didn't ever get it to move to the right place. Sometimes I wish we physically drew again and this wasn't a necessary "time saver" evil! At least I knew what to do then to get what I wanted. Thanks for attempts.
  12. Ok I get it and will experiment. Just lower the tiles by the offset to get them where I want. Thanks again DzinEye!
  13. Could you give me a clue so I know why I'm doing what I do? I'm looking up "offset" but don't understand the term in regards to the pattern looking upside down to me.
  14. For the hell of it, I rotated it 180 and it still looks incorrect.
  15. Yes it rotates. if it looks the way I want it to in the Plan Materials box, how do I know how to rotate it or what offset to enter?
  16. Ignore previous 2 entries. I'm looking at how to edit and hope it helps!
  17. I don't understand your suggestion Alaska?
  18. How do I open the Define material again?
  19. X12 iMac Mojave Anyone know why my material may be coming in upside down — notice in screenshot that it is correct in Library. Also making extra tile rows that are not in my jpg exported from Adobe ID. I have unchecked Retain Aspect ratio and input exact size of wall that tile goes on in tub area. Also did that in ID creating image at same size as wall. For clarification, gold tile meant to sit at tub with diagonal decos and off whites going to the ceiling.
  20. Your avatar (solver — is that the right term?) is perfect! Thank you!
  21. Oh maybe it's a scale issue — just looked at it and see that it isn't correct which looks to be what you are suggesting.
  22. How do I get to where I can edit the imported texture? Or do I just need to import again? I have attempted to make signature numerous times and nothing shows up on my entry so that's why I said I give up.
  23. Oh jeez! Does it ever get easier? So if anyone is still in the mood to help, see how in the screenshot the image in the Library isn't the same as what was painted on the backsplash? I made it 19" high in InDesignIsecond screenshot) so why isn't it correlating appropriately? What have I done now? Do I have to do it one by one in CA?
