I'm trying to figure out how to arch a straight polyline solid panel that I have put perforations in. I know how to do the PLS and the hole perforations but no idea how to arch it after it is formed? I realized while making it that it has to be straight first so that the perforations show up correctly in camera and elevation view.

One reason I keep on Alyn, is because the learning process is exquisite (as well as painful!). Very cool Ryan, I didn't know about Vector etc. views. I now have the navajo on the teapot but still doesn't show up in my polyline solid?

Ah, you all are the best! I am looking at all of your suggestions and will sally forth again tomorrow. Yes glennw, I backed up and used the zip file but still 20/6 MB not 14 (seems very small!). Wow gawdzira, your steps are incredibly helpful; however, when I make a material of the rug in the library, no image shows up in the teapot! I gather when you say card for the rug, you used a polyline solid? But again, I'm not able to paint a texture in the solid. I understand your first comment better now chopsaw in terms of the camera angle but still lost in terms of either getting the screenshot to sit on top of the rail or an the rug image in a solid so that I can put it on top of the rail. And I haven't figured out how to make a copy of the plan in order to input a smaller sized file. Though it may seem I'm hopeless, I persevere . . .

Thanks Dermot! Something seems to be going wrong with my screenshot when I bring it in as a material. It isn't showing up on the teapot? My zip is too large. How do I get it smaller?

I've made a mess. I'm just going to ask support because I've got so many issues and have no idea why — not feeling LOL but what else to do?!

I got the screenshot in Chopsaw (thanks!) but why won't the rug show up in front of the board? And why is it cut off in my camera view?

I have dragged a PDF of a rug to my elevation but as you can see, I'm not able to have the rug show up on the wall. What do I need to do?

I am watching videos and can't figure out how to get rid of the graduated black bar at the bottom on my iMac? It obscures the commands at the bottom and so my process is even slower than usual!

How would I make one marker such as the one I've shown below? This is for a shower and there's just not that much room for 4.

I'm looking at what you sent and did get a pattern in there. Not sure exactly how to choose or make a pattern for a 1x2 mesh tile. I have chosen the image that I brought in to the library browser as texture but when selecting the line (grout) color, had to force quit. Might have something to do with using a 2013 iMac that I'm keeping alive in a most complicated way!

I do have patterns "toggle" on so going to look at all Dermot has sent. Haven't solved it but can't thank y'all enough for assistance!

I didn't but went back in and did. Deleted elevation and still get the same thing.

I have added a tile (single 8x8) to my User catalog and applied by spray paint in 3D camera view. Why does it come up as a single color in the elevation? thanks in advance!

No the file was grayed out and so no import. But when I go to desktop and drag it in, it works.
