My 3D Connexion Enterprise mouse that I use with my left hand has all the function keys, along with a lot of other buttons and they are all labeled.

Hi all,
I work for a home builder here in Vancouver and we are looking to switching to Chief. Anyone in the area using it and willing to share your strategies for options/multiple elevations per plan?
Curious what are you currently using, and why are you interested in Chief if you're looking for software that handles building options and multiple elevations per plan? Chief is a great 3D modeling program which I find very helpful when trying to help clients with their selections. But, it is not set up to handle a typical semi-custom or production builder's needs very efficiently.

Do you have any can ceiling lights or other light fixtures in the room?

I am using the 3D Connexion mouse that came with the 3D Connexion Enterprise Space Navigator. The mouse is larger than most of the ones I have used in the past, which is very comfortable for me since I have very large hands.

I was having this issue with the toolbar going bye-bye but just finished a nice project with no hiccups...
The solution for me was to only use the one monitor while modeling in Chief???

Okay, p-solid it is.
I was hoping for something easy since we can rotate the post by inserting an angle... I thought just maybe...

10,000 X easier in Twin Motion. Next
May I ask what format you have found to be the best format to export your Chief model into Twin Motion?

Also, it appears to be related to having the Layout open. I was able to work efficiently with no Layout file open. As soon as I opened the layout file with tiled windows, frozen (but no Olaf for comic relief).
I was told by support that I needed to pause my OneDrive sync while using Chief… that is what they think is causing chief to freeze up.
Seems to work so far.

A contractor friend of mine moved to Eagle, ID and wants to do a whole house remodel. I designed for him for 12 years in California using CA but I am retiring. I was hoping to contact a CA design professional in the Boise area on his behalf that may be interested in doing this extensive project. I do believe he intends to continue contracting once he is settled in ID. Please reply here or email mctopcat56@gmail.com
Let me know if I can help your friend get going here.

CA has produced a really good video on getting the framing just right. Does anyone have others to add for efficient editing to get framing as exact as possible?
Do you have a link to this video?

How much do you charge for putting together a video like this for your clients?

Pretty slick...
Here, I found a short video of using building options:
-
To be honest, this is how I handle the situation you have…
-
How about saving each option as a group symbol to your user catalog and then use the “Replace” command to show the customer her choices?

I used to live in Park City… I might be able to send someone in to measure it for you. How big is the house?

Speaking of computer specs.... Im still driving around in my Model T Alienware waiting till Black Friday/Cyber Monday for wheels and deals on computers since everyone is saying the prices are bloated right now. Ive been getting recommendations on several custom pc builders and the first thing I do is call tech support and see how long the wait time is and how the company handles customers. 75% of the places I called have HORRIBLE tech support/ customer service and Id never buy from them.
Does anyone recommend any good places (price and good customer service) to get a pc ($3000 +/- ) desktop for X13? I still have a few months before upgrading the computer so Im still kicking tires.
I already bought X13 but cant use it because the Model T doesnt run the new stuff.
Costco has a gaming computer for $3k that looks good.

Here is what I do that is simple to do... I check the like box for each library I download... then I can tell at a glance which ones I already have downloaded when looking to see what is new.
