I am creating a garden with curved fence, Under Build I went to fencing then curved fencing - great no problem BUT I have been trying to change the standard pickets to privacy fence.. I'm probably missing something really simple.. but I have been at this for over an hour.
I am creating custom light fixtures and many have a domed shade. I actually used two bowls in the CA library for one of the shades (one for outer color, one for inner color) but was wondering how I could use the included shapes to do this as well or just CAD objects. There is a half sphere available but I want to hollow it out. Is there a way to "subtract" a smaller half sphere within a larger half sphere (create a hole?) to do this? Some of the domes are not completely spherical, so I would like to edit their shape a little and then hollow them out. Trying to do something like the sconce pasted in here.
I also attach a CA plan with the light fixture I created using the bowls (I don't know how to export one user object separately....)
Can someone tell me how to construct the attic wall above a curved ceiling as shown below? I tried placing a wall in the attic (attic wall) but all you get is a standard triangular shaped attic wall...the bottom edge of the attic wall does not follow the curved of the ceiling.
Here is the curved ceiling...no attic wall.
Here is "with" an "attic wall"...
Good Afternoon -
I have put in some half walls and some beams to an interior space. Where the half walls are, they block my beams. It appears that they are invisible above where they show on the bottom and then blocks the beam at the ceiling. Is there a different way to do a half wall so that it doesn't do that? Picture below shows what I'm talking about... that beam is drawn all the way to the window but when I put the half wall in that beam disappeared.
I'm running X9 Interiors on a Windows 10 platform.
Thanks in advance.
