NRST8TRKR Posted May 4, 2014 Share Posted May 4, 2014 I am ready to pull my hair out over these returns. Some will generate and some here and there. Have searched the training videos and seems there is not one on this subject. Does anyone know of one or have a guess as to why these will not generate. Typically, when I have problems it is because of non parallel roof planes to walls, and wall (or more specifically room) elevations are fairly different from the base line elevation of the roof plane that you wish to automatically generate a roof return. Frankly, I don't waste time trying to solve a problem with an auto roof return not forming I create my own. Hope this helps. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Solution NRST8TRKR Posted May 5, 2014 Author Solution Share Posted May 5, 2014 Problem solved. Had to do the molding polyline thing. Just had to try to get the auto roof returns to work. It is my contention that when the program toughs a specific feature it should work as advertised. Kelly thanks for your reply.
