gelbuilding Posted August 25, 2015 Share Posted August 25, 2015 I've been asked to produce models of small dwellings. Fully scaled. The guy whose making the model advised me that my mesh is to thin and when the 3D printer makes e.g the gutters it will breakup because the gutter is very thin, especially when its scaled down so he placed a lid on top of the gutter, i can live with this. Though the windows he had to thicken up, and removed the glass mesh. I want to know has anyone achieved making miniature model successfully with CA and what happened with the window frames. This guy uses Rhino and beefed up the window thicknesses in order to successfully 3D cut them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
