What You'll Do

·         Assist in producing detailed residential construction drawings in Chief Architect based on concepts developed by our in-house architectural and interior designers

·         Draft plans across a variety of home styles, from traditional to contemporary

·         Incorporate building codes, structural requirements, and constructability considerations into every set

·         Revise drawings promptly based on feedback

·         Deliver complete, organized plan sets in both Chief Architect and PDF formats

·         Collaborate with our design team through regular communication and respond constructively to direction and redlines

·         Participate in occasional client-facing presentations or review meetings as needed

What You Bring

·         Proficiency in Chief Architect (required)

·         Demonstrated experience drawing custom residential homes across multiple architectural styles

·         Working knowledge of residential building codes and structural requirements

·         Strong visualization and spatial problem-solving abilities

·         Consistent ability to meet deadlines and manage revision cycles

·         Clear, professional communication skills – written and verbal

How We Work Together

·         This is a virtual, project-based sub-contractor position

·         Turnaround expectations will be established per project at time of engagement

·         Communication will primarily be conducted via email, phone and virtual meetings

·         Project volume may vary month to month. Typical project length is 6-8 weeks.
