tquade
Hi all- I've tried all day watching videos for, editing materials lists, looking at schedules and I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for? I'm on x15 and we can change the width of the cabinet hardware as needed very easily now (in the dialog box). I'm wondering if anyone out there has figured out how to get only the cabinet pulls/knobs to show up on a material list or schedule or somewher else I'm not aware of AND the lengths you changed them too? In the picture below I crossed off everything else i don't need. It's super basic so I can't believe I can't do it easily. I can export to a spreadsheet and then make the changes but in my head even that's too hard. Would even love to be able to add the similar styles together. (3 rows that all have 8" sized pulls). I'm hoping that when I update the cabinet plan with teh correct hardware pieces, i can just order based on the quantities, too many pieces get missed or double counted by us (phone rings, gotta start over, etc...). Would just be a super nice way to double check.

I just deleted component items for these 3 base cabinets and just left the hardware. I did this in X16. This is what the material list reported:
tquade
HI Jim- Yes, I've gotten that far. Yours totals it up nicely because all three of your cabinets are the same (I think). When the cabinets change (B4D, B3D, B1D, and the hardware sizes change), that's what I'm trying to clean up. If you look at my original screen shot, you can see I get the data, but i'm hoping chief can total it for me by hardware size. Basically a buy list by hardware size.
