The ideal candidate can produce clean, accurate Chief Architect plan files and renderings from PDFs and provided design direction. Responsibilities Build complete Chief Architect models from PDFs and architectural source files Collaborate remotely with our design team to confirm accuracy and project intent Produce: As-built plans Bid plan sets (per our drafting standards) Construction documentation plan sets Create high-quality interior and exterior renderings using provided materials, selections, and design concepts Qualifications Strong proficiency in Chief Architect (X15) Solid understanding of residential construction and design documentation Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines independently To Apply Send a brief intro and examples of plan sets and renderings to:lclark@cross-tx.com Please include availability, typical turnaround time, and relevant experience. As a former design-builder and carpenter, I understand the importance of plans that are client friendly, ready for permits and also include accurate detailed quantity take offs making it much easier for subs and suppliers to bid on a job. My standard plan sets contain accurate material take offs, including framing lumber quantities, in BID READY format.
