Concentric Resize - Stair Plan Width

Good morning,

 

Can anybody confirm if concentric resize works on stair plans?  I drag a stair width handle while holding down "c" and the opposite side does not resize as I'd expect.

 

I could be doing it wrong, but if this does not in fact work I can post it to the suggestion list for improvements.
