Material List Question

In the Material list portion, is there a way when creating a material list that a specific framing member have a maxed length and a similar framing member be maxed at another length. For example, a 2x12 rim joist is maxed at 16 feet length but a 2x12 floor joist is maxed at 20 to 24 foot length. Both framing members are categorized to its function but the reporting shows it to whatever length beyond the 16 foot max for the rim joist. Please help if there is a way because this is driving me nuts.
