Roof Type or Eves?

I am new to CA. Trying to figure out how to draw a roof with eves/facia or whatever that is under the roof. Is there a name for that and do you accomplish that with a big fascia or wall or what?

For a quick hack you can use a 3D Solid

but you won't get an open space above

the windows in an interior view.
