This graphics card will run Chief Architect but it is fairly dated and at the lower end of the performance range. In addition, this card does not support real time ray tracing so the higher end real time rendering will not be supported with this card. If you are looking for the optimal graphics card you should consider an AMD RX 7800 or higher or an Nvidia RTX 3070 or 4070 or higher. ChiefRichMD Posted June 8 Share Posted June 8 @robert11 - This website (one of many) will give you a good idea of which cards are in the same ballpark as their recommendation of an RTX 3070 or RTX 4070 - UserBenchmark: Nvidia RTX 3050 vs 3070 If you look at an RX 580 and the RTX 3050, there is a small increase (31%) but between an RTX 3050 and RTX 3070 is another 124% increase in average score. If you want to save $, I have purchased used cards off EBay and you can save a LOT of $. I bought a used RTX 3070 OC (overclock) for a little over $200.00 a while back - which is cheaper than a brand new 3050... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
