Foundation Walls of Mono Slab will not render in 3D

I have an issue that often when I create a monolithic slab under the first floor, that it does correctly build the slab and footers I have specified in 2D.  When I then go to the 3D view the slab is visible, but not the footer which is on the layer Foundation Walls.  I have checked in my 3D view that layer is turned on, but it does not appear and I get an opening in the terrain that is white where the footings should appear.

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well after a bit more effort I discovered that the slab wall was turned on during foundation generation, but footings was not checked.  Problem solved.
