TeaTreeT
Hello! I'm hoping to get some assistance. I'm not overly familiar with the terrain tool, and working on a project that has a slope from road side down to waterside. There is a walkout basement under the deck, and a gentle slope away from the garage to allow for driving out with a lawn tractor or to pull a boat down to the water. I think I have it fairly close, but the spot where the retaining wall is, the grade keeps staying higher than the door. Hopefully someone has input as to what I'm doing wrong! I have attached the chief plan as well as snips of the working drawing set that indicate what it should look like. Thanks in advance Portage Bay 3D.plan Using Chief Architect Premier X15 Portage Bay 3D.plan
robdyck
The choice to use terrain modifiers like lowered regions isn't the best option. I've deleted the lowered regions and replaced them with 2 Elevation Regions, both of which are shaded and have there elevations displayed. This is a very quick and simplified demonstration, but I'd suggest you give the elevation regions a try.
