OJ_DYI Posted November 22, 2022 Share Posted November 22, 2022 I have a Home Designer Pro .plan file I need converted to 3D AutoCAD dwg. I think Chief Architect does export the Perspective Full Overview to 3D .dwg but Home Designer does not have this capability. Would someone with Chief Architect software be willing to convert this file for me? Thanks in advance. DavidJPotter Posted November 22, 2022 Share Posted November 22, 2022 AutoCAD can also read .dfx files, the latest version of HD Pro (2023) exports to .dwg as well, what version are you using? OJ_DYI Posted November 23, 2022 Author Share Posted November 23, 2022 I'm using home designer pro 2020. There are options for .dwg and .dxf export of 2D plan views only. There is not a .dwg or .dxf export of 3D model or Perspective Full Overview. I've seen in the documentation for Chief Architect there is such a feature.
