Invisible wall and wall connection issue

For some reason I can't connect this thicker wall to the wall behind the cabinet and in trying to do so, somewhere along the line it created this invisible wall that I can not delete...

Thanks, seems silly to just create room dividers. Is this new with 14?
I am still unable to connect that wall like your drawing shows. I drag it over and it snaps back to the wall divider line and show a yellow exclamation point about unconnected wall.

I see now. It just didn't like that I drew a room in the middle of that interior space, (?).
So you connect it somewhere else and then it lets you delete the other wall.

Guess I have just never come across that situation before.
