no surface textures

Hi

 

I have a new ALIENWARE M15 RYZEN ED. R5 laptop.  I have installed my ca 11 on my new  laptop.  I still can't get any textures,  I have updated my core library and bonus +manufactures libraries.  I have no idea why I still have no textures,  works on my old lap top fine but does not show in standard rendering on this new laptop,  The image shows the standard rendering and the material I was trying to  I was trying to add to the island.

 

It was suggested I back up the plan - but nothing changed

OMG!!! How did I not have those toggled.   Oh My I feel so stupid. ha ha.  I was checking everything else....THANK YOU ERIC.  my o h my so simple>
