anikonor
Hello, I downloaded one of the examples from the sample gallery (Nashville example from this link: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/products/samples.html) When I open the plan, it seems that the file has lost all the connection with materials, textures, backgrounds, etc. I followed the steps described in this article (https://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-00104/locating-sample-plans.html), but it made no difference. Any ideas how to fix it? Thank you.
Chief_Content
Hi @anikonor! The Sample Plan is provided in a .ZIP file, this means the textures are compressed along with the .PLAN inside, and must be extracted before use. You should make sure that you have extracted the files, and that you open the plan from within Chief Architect using the File>Open menu item. If you try to open the plan by double-clicking the icon inside of the .ZIP, you might see errors like this. Please let me know if this helps; if it doesn't we can try to trouble-shoot further.
