HBREdrafter
My company is looking for a subcontractor to further supplement the drawing-related design capabilities of our design/build residential remodeling services in the Twin Cities (MN), primarily the west metro. Aside from being proficient in Chief Architect, we would require the following in order to be considered to perform services for our company: · Proof of business status in good standing. · Proof of insurance including professional errors and omissions coverage. · A general understanding of basic residential design principles, residential construction techniques, and local residential building codes. · Willingness and ability to effectively work with and take direction from multiple stakeholders including both other company employees (i.e. project manager) and/or a lead designer, whether an employee or subcontractor. Typical services required would entail working with the lead designer to implement designs from conceptual bid plans through to the creation of construction documents. For example: · measuring existing houses and creating existing 'as built' drawings · creating conceptual drawings for client review · creating select 3D views · incorporating changes into revised drawings as directed by lead designer · creating select detailed interior elevations for material takeoff and installation bid gathering · creating drawings to be used for gathering building permits and during construction If you and your company are interested in furthering discussions as a possible subcontractor, email us at operations@hbre-mn.com.
