GintOtis 3 Posted November 12, 2020 Hi folks, I have a number of different wall types coming together in my townhouse... This wall is a Siding-6 over Brick-6, bearing, pony wall, with "Through Wall" checked at both ends. (to allow for intended future reflection of adjacent townhouses) The other two walls, with foundations, are set as 'partitions' to allow for butting-up to the continuous 2x6 exterior wall. My issue is with the pony wall. When I attempt to add foundation to it, it results in the lower wall of the pony wall being the foundation. and, with foundation checked... Is there a setting that I'm overlooking? (the 'Through Wall' setting left unchecked does the same thing) Can a foundation stub be "added" to the bottom of the pony? thanks so much for anything anyone can tell me. -gint

GintOtis 3 Posted November 12, 2020 It turns out that my garage/entry level is already the "0" Foundation level. Drawing a foundation wall puts it up at the floor elevation. (with no way to 'move' it in the negative Z direction) It there a way to move everything up a floor? ...or, setting the current Foundation 0 floor to be the 1st Floor? i really hope so... -g.
