Creating Arched brick soldier course over garage door and window

I'm new to Chief.  I'm trying to create an arched brick soldier course over a garage door and over some windows.  I read the suggestion listed when I did a search in Chief but the program didn't behave as noted.  The bricks extended beyond the p-line I drew.  I'd I'd also like to have a solid brick material that would work with the brown mixed used brick that comes with the program at least to start with until I get better at mapping finishes.

I use polyline solids in elevation view for all brick detailing.  You will also need to create a texture file for individual bricks (stretch to fit) to have the brick arch look right.  I use photoshop to create textures.
