Default door swing edit?

Whenever I place an interior door, say a bedroom door in a corner, most of the time Chief will place the swing incorrectly, ie: hinged edge not on the side wall, but out into the room.  I have to reverse the swing most every time.  I would think this would be programmed by default, rather than editing all the time. Doesn't seem to matter the direction, it happens almost every time.  So much so, I'm amazed the few times it randomly places correctly!  Is there a fix for this?  Probably something simple I just missed - I should have asked this long ago...
