jjifmeyer 3 Posted September 10, 2018 I am new to the forums and was wondering if someone is willing to help me with some roof issues. I have been trying for 3 days and can't figure this out. Trying to get a section of a mostly flat roof to show as gable but it keeps cutting the point off the gable roof to a flat section? Any help would be much appreciated. The attached photos show my problem. I need to get the Gable to a point at the top not sure why it keeps creating this flat section. The Black included image is what I need. solver 1636 Posted September 10, 2018 For questions like this, it's usually best to attach your plan file. The program may not easily do that roof automatically, so the easy solution is to draw exactly what you need manually.

solver 1636 Posted September 10, 2018 I see you have turned off Auto Rebuild Roofs and made a change. I'm unsure of the problem. Is this what you want?
jjifmeyer 3 Posted September 10, 2018 Yes exactly but not sure how you got that, every time I tried it gave me the other result. Even when I would turn on auto rebuild. Could you give me a little explanation what you did to achieve the results. If you could send the fixed file back so I could compare to my file. Thank you so much. I have only been working with Chief Architect for about a week. I find the roof building quite confusing. Thanks again.
