Deck cantilever

I can never understand how Chief gets you almost there and then leaves you with multiple steps to get to where a default could get you easily. Deck posts have a default for how far from the end you want them but there is no easy way to get the cantilever off the end of the deck to default.  I wish there was an easy way to get the set back of beam from edge default.  Right now it is 16" which doesn't work for many situations where you need to pick up a load from above.  I have seen some posts but I haven't seen a complete answer on how to easily complete this.

 

Anyone have a work around or easy way to accomplish this?  This might just be another weakness in the user but it just seems there should be an easy way to set this.

I usually set the automatic functions to frame the deck but not the beams and posts.  I set those manually where I want them.
