.DWG compatibility with Civil 3D 2015

Hi all,  Does anyone know of compatibility issues between CA x10 and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 when exporting a .DWG file?  I exported using the 2013-2017 option, all floors, all layers.  My survey company who is using Civil 3D cannot open it though.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you export as 2D or 3D? My experience has been that 3D DWG exports from Chief aren't as reliable. If 2D is what you're after, try exporting as 2010-2012, or as a DXF. Civil 3D supports both, so I expect one of these options should work.

Thanks for the response, I exported as 3D.  I'll try sending them the 2D file to see if that helps.
