DougDM
I Purchased back around 2002 if I recall.... a couple HP 500C's. One is on it's way out and may be in the market for a new plotter to take it's place. Just curious to see what others are using these days...I do mostly Arch C & D size so C size printer is fine, I'm okay with CMYK but contemplating upping to more than just CMYK inks, I'm also a photographer and do my own prints but on a smaller Epson 3880. A couple I 'm looking at is the Epson 6000 and the HP-T120, HP Design jet T520, Canon image Prograph iPF770 to mention a few, any suggestions of others for me to take look at would be appreciated. Thanks, Doug
Griffin
I replaced my fussy HP 130NR two years ago with a Cannon IPF 670. The Cannon is a very good printer for my needs, mostly D & E size using 500 foot rolls (get the stand). I can't believe I put up with the HP for so long. Night and day difference in quality, paper handling, speed and economy. It can print posters but for excellent photo reproduction you will need more colors.
