myrtsbnye
Hello All, This is a newbie question but I can't seem to figure it out. I am working on a project now that has a central room that has 12' ceilings and two side areas that have 8' ceilings. I've drawn the walls separating the rooms as 2"x6" interior walls. Problem is on the exterior. The roof on the side areas is 4' below the roof on the central area. Now the walls that separates the central room from the side rooms would be an interior wall below the side room roof but would be an exterior wall above the side room roof. In the elevations though the wall is shown as interior and has the interior finish instead of the siding. Does this make sense? I can't seem to figure this out and I did see a Youtube video that dealt with this quite awhile ago but can't seem to locate it now. Thanks for any help. blayman
Sounds like you need to flip the layers. Bill
