SketchArchitect
Hi... See Attached File... I would like to have this hip roof section (Addition) blend into the existing gabled roof. I'm not seeing tutorials on this; so I'm reaching out again. The file is kinda botched because I was "Trial & Erroring" it to no avail. What is the best step-by-step on this? Is it better to work at the roof baseline polyline level first for this sort of thing? The file is close... I want the left side of the gable slope to meet the slope of the hip roof... right now it's creating a straight line over to the peak. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help, Stu Flickinger Project.plan
DougMaddox
Flickinger Project.plan This should help. Check your eaves - they are all a little different.
MikeJG
Doug beat me to it. The only difference is that I used a higher pitch on the cricket. Mike Flickinger Project MG.plan
