Stair & Cable railing?

Issue one is the plan view of the railing. Should I create a railing wall with no drywall & a 3" core to get the plan view to look like a railing?

Issue two is where the stair on 2nd floor meets the Open Below. See S24. The railing on the stair needs to follow the stair all the way to the toe of the bottom tread.

Then the level railing should start near that point.

 

I need to run some errands but will return in 2 or 3 hours so I will be silent until then.

New day & fresh eyes.

Took some tweaking but I got it.

The narrow wall, no drywall & 2.5" width made the plan view more realistic.

I had the change all the walls forming the "Open Below"  to the narrow Fence type to get the corners to form properly.

Also the end walls with door openings to suppress the railing at top & bottom of the stair run need to be set to Cable Railing too to get the connections to form properly.
