  1. I currently use CA (X10 - SSA) to create accessible and universal design residential plans for people with disabilities. I also provide project management services nationally for all my plans. I need assistance with both aspects of these services. Regarding the CA work, I would provide the design/strategy/problem solving for the project and would like assistance developing construction plans. Regarding the project management services, I would like assistance with preconstruction and project management work with the implementation of the plans. I have (3) active X10/SSA licenses and will allow the right candidate use a license if necessary. The work is remote so you can work from home. I would prefer EST or CST time zone. CA work is flexible but project management services would require 1-3 hours (M-F) daily during business hours for calls and meetings. If interested, please provide the following with name/contact #: 1. Time Zone 2. CA version 3. Are you currently selling CA services? If so, please provide work details. 4. How much work/hours weekly would you want to make this position worth while? 5. Are there any days M-F (during EST business hours) you are not available? 6. I would prefer to establish a fee schedule/flat rate for CA work products. What would be your hourly rate (you'll be 1099 at year's end) for project management services?
  2. Is anyone in the Cedar Rapids, IA area? The project entails a new build house with approximately 1500 sf.
  3. I'm looking for someone to provide virtual assistance with converting my raw field data (CA plan) into a finished as-is product. I use X8 and have a SSA subscription so I would need the same with anyone I work with. The raw data includes a CA file with measurements, 360s views of interior rooms and exterior of house, and walking videos of both interior/exterior. The field data needs to be converted to a 2D floor plan with measurements and 3D rendering of existing house. These drawings/files are primarily for communication purposes only so exacted scaled drawings are not necessary. After I present our plan to the client, I could also use assistance with finished drawings and layouts. If you're interested, please contact me directly. Please include your hourly rate, turn around time/availability, and samples of your work. I'm guessing I would need 5 hours a week or 20 hours a month for now. Looking for someone who is flexible.
  4. I'm working with someone with a physical disability and need a floor plan of his house. My client lives Braxton, MS which is 30 mins south of Jackson. I'm looking for someone with CA to produce (go onsite to measure) a floor plan of the existing house. The floor plan needs to be within 1-2" of actual measurements. The floor plan will be used for feasibility purposes. Looking to have this completed in the next 1-2 weeks.

  7. Just another mouse trap to offer up here. I insert a window. Make the dim's 12 x 12 or whatever size you want your niche. Make the window type solid. Strip it down to bare bones- no casing, lintel, or sill Shrink the sash down to 1/16" all the way around Then adjust your materials to your preference. You can save this as a symbol for later use too. The draw back to this is that you have to fill the window with a poly-solid on the back side if it is exposed and in view. For the floor plan on the layout I usually just cover the window area with a sold box, the color of the walls I use.
