I've been attempting to build some custom raftertails. Client has sent me a design i'm trying to mimic. What is the best approach? is there a design in the library that is similar? so I don't have to create it from scratch. Hi, I'm having trouble figuring out how to lower the column height on my railing post. I'm using the stacked round column and I need to lower just the bottom half. I want the lower half of the column at 40' and the remainder of the column to post to beam. I also need to find where to change the beam height on the ceiling to 11 1/4" instead of 7 1/4" so it is exposed a little more. sommers 2.plan

I tried that, but it gave me an error saying... Dormer roof does not meet base roof, probably near the top. You need to move the dormer down the roof or lower its height. and then says cannot build walls for this dormer here because existing walls are in the way. It need to be moved to another position.

Good morning, I'm having issues creating a false shed dormer. This is my first. I want it place basically right over the front entry door. I do not want to see the dormer from inside the house. Any help? or point me to a forum post. Thank you, sommers 3.plan

Hi, I have a 4 story home with the ground floor being elevated on wood piles. I'm a little confuse on the correct method to build my ground floor. I have Floors 1,2 and 3 built.
