I have same issue here with not being able to print to HP111........Chief reports my plotter as  "0" DPI.............????????

Did the workaround, print to PDF then to printer works but, would be nice to print straight to plot like my other Pro-CAD programs, can do.

My surface pro 2 (has U4300) not seem to work as a friends IPhone works. IE move it and it reacts............

I get just a stuck picture......even docked at office, looking from account............

Is it a setting on surface, missing?

Has anyone viewed these on phone, surface, IPad, or any others devices yet?

Well, I have exported to cloud, then you can make public, and share. The share will give you link to view that file on Chiefs cloud.......

Not sure if that is what you where asking or not.

As collecting, funds and about to renew unexpired SSA. Is there a viewer for clients yet, starting new project and wanted to use X9 once all good with SSA.

Seems just because the credit card payment is made, the credit card would not accept the charge for my SSA today.

Guess bank transfers still take time............ That's OK I still have 17 days of SSA, updates for a year they say........ oops I was beginning to think again...

Oh before you ask collected money yesterday, deposited, transfer today, pay SSA tomorrow......... Hope CA computers work on the weekends.

My best guess are the inserted files are on your computer, and not the drafters computer. Are the files located in same directory as plan and layout, or different location on your computer? (If not chief is looking in wrong place possibly on one computer)

The best way to pass plans and layouts between computers is do a backup from Layout file into one directory. It should place all the referenced files and data in that one directory. So Chief Architect can find those files....

You are correct, I just noticed the window labels from other side, are showing up even through the walls.  geeee

At least in X8 that only happened if the windows where lined up...........

Thank you, not sure I understand all you said, will work on it. The clear glass able to see in is what I like. I now understand why lined up windows label would appear.

Dermot, this same issue was in x8....... I asked about it last year.....

Joes, answer then was the same work around. I wanted to see in windows so turned labels off..... Was too hard and risk of wrong label, being moved down under elevation where I like them. (yes old school) 

My dyslexic mind thinks of it as.....

Trusses top cord continues down past wall for overhang. Bottom cord rests on top plate.

Doing stick framing designs mostly. The inside top plate is where the command point is for the birds mouth to be cut.

So I have no clue other than software math, is how they came up with base line on top of rafter............

Gee......who knows???

But it works.

I had same issue in X8. I do not show labels in elevations......

nope......X8 reads older files, but no way to down grade back from X8 to X7.....(Now X9 will read all but not save backwards)

I thought SSA was 12 month, not 11months 10 days..........

Really your honor I only robbed the bank to get the public beta of Chief Architect, because I did not pay 20 days in advance of my SSA running out.......I'll pay bank back when I planned to pay Chief........... so it really was just a loan...............LOL

Murphy and I are such good friends. Got to laugh at it some times...............

Last year switched my SSA to end of January, because end of December was killing me.... Still the old collect before you can pay seems to, still be issue....
