  1. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question Mark! Much appreciated! Thanks for the tip on where to ask my questions too. I'll give the methods you shared a go and see if it gets me what I am looking for. Thanks again!
  2. Hi everyone, Just wondering if there is a way to edit 3D blocks that are imported as .skp files from the Sketchup 3D Warehouse inside CA? There are many great models/blocks that work great in CA until you need to edit them. When you go into Edit CAD Block it opens a 2D editing window and grays out all the 3D camera and editing options. And, even if you make a change in 2D and then Save when closing the editing window/pane it still don't affect the 3D block in the plan. Any suggestions on how to work with this?
  3. Hi, I am looking for a way to toggle the orientation of an object before placing it. For example, when I have a base cabinet on my cursor I can see the orientation but I can't toggle it before placement if I am placing it in the middle of a kitchen floor for an island (when it isn't snapping to a wall). It would be great if there was a hotkey that would toggle the orientation in 90 degree increments before placing the object instead of having to place it then select it and then drag the rotate handle around the 90 degrees. Hopefully this functionality exists! Also, it would also be awesome to be able to toggle through the x,y,z planes when trying to select an object so that it moves in the desired direction when moved.
  4. Thanks DBCooper. I'm new at this forum thing so next time I get the error message I'll share it. I am using the latest update of CA and the latest drivers on my Nvidia 5060 ti GPU. Hoping that I don't get the error message/crash again but I will share here when/if it happens again.
  5. I am having CA crash when I manipulate fairly simple 3D Objects. Like, literally a 3D cube that I want to break and make into a stair or something simple. It gives me an error message that won't go away and crashes the program. I am using CA X17. I've been using CA since May of this year so still working my way up the learning curve.
