    Ahhhh, I didn't catch those two things. Unchecking the "floor supplied by the foundation room below" is what wouldn't allow me to manipulate the different fields without automatically changing others. Again, thank you!

    As with my experience with Chief... I tried doing the steps you have explained in my own work & it doesn't work!!!!!! When I try to change the numbers in the dialog boxes, Chief changes the others incorrectly. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Country Home.plan

    Thanks Michael! I played around with all of those numbers within the dialog box but I couldn't get it to behave that way. I would of never thought to break the walls & check the , "go through floor below" box. Again, thanks so much!

    I set it up that way. I swear it is IMPOSSIBLE to get it to respond like I drew the 2D CAD above. This is how I build a house & I can't get it to behave this way. Test.plan

    Could anyone shed some light on how you go about getting Chief setup to build like this picture? I have tried so many ways & I wasn't able to get it to draw correctly. I am using X6. Thanks, Mike
