  1. Not sure if this will work for you. I did this using Boxed Eave in Roof Settings.
  2. Rob, I've had "reasonable" success with making thatched roofs using Terrain Tools. You'll need to work outside the box. Create the house using a conventional roof Create the thatched roof in a separate plan as Terrain Make the terrain perimeter size and shape you want it to be in the final model Use terrain elevation lines to achieve the shape of the roof When you are done, apply the thatch material to the terrain and export the terrain as a 3DS file Import the 3DS file into the working model (with a conventional roof) Place the 3ds Model on the roof top - kind of like a hat. I hope this helps. Good Luck. Have fun with it. Zoome Tiki-Hut.plan
  3. Thanks Mick. That worked. When Ceiling Platform: Automatic, the siding is clipped. When Ceiling Platform: Balloon Through Ceiling Above, the siding is as expected.
  4. Having issues with a wide deck causing exterior wall issues when the interior room has a vaulted ceiling. My goal is for the plan to have a wide deck and a vaulted ceiling (interior room) - Version 2 below is what I want to do. Problem is: The combination of a wide deck and vaulted ceiling is causing some siding to disappear. Any chance someone has found this same issue? Any suggestions? FYI, I can fix it by dragging the missing siding upwards. Just wanted to see if there is a better solution. Thanks, Dan BeachHouse2.plan
