  1. I have a client that wants to see a 3D rendering of this timber frame structure. I can do the straight posts and beams, no problem, but I don't know how to generate the curved beams. What shapes/solids do I use, or should I draw a flat 2D polyline and then extrude it and give it depth? Most of my clients don't want me to put the extra time (money) into the fancy scroll work on the ends of the beams and such but this client wants to see all of it in 3D. Please just get me on the right track and, hopefully, I can figure it out from there. Thanks, Jess Kittle Kittle Custom Home Design Chief Architect X6
  2. DRAWZILLA - It selects as the roof plane, so I can't delete it. But since I am using a shadow board and a frieze board maybe I can turn that layer off. tommy1 - I do believe you are right, it might be a shadow board or a frieze board, and I used a molding for both of those. I will try your suggestion. Thanks for your help!
  3. See attached picture... I'm trying to finalize the roof on a house and I am having an issue with the "Perspective Full Overview". I've tried shifting the roof plane, even separating the ridge and the funky line will not fully go away, or it shifts too. Any suggestions on how to solve this, so I can present the views to my client? I'm using X6. Thanks, Jess Kittle Kittle Custom Home Design
