I drawn everything to a resolution of a 1/16". I then go back and try to round off and get rid of most of the fractions. Should I just change the dimension default that I used from smallest fraction of 1/16 to 1/4 inch. Recommendations.

Trying to create a roof line over the dining area in this plan that does not rake up almost to the ridge. I have seen framers do this but I have not a clue how to make it in Chief. I am going out to one that I am building and can jpeg what I need but with all the chief talkers I thought I would get out my request now. If more info or pic needed I understand. Want to raise the entry and take off the dormer. Dead valleys? Tried to attach file but first post did not take.SE Plan Front Elevation Correct 051914 end to end.zip

This plan has a dormer above the front entry and looks ok but I would like to pop up the entry and take the dormer off. I do not feel there is a way without creating dead valleys. I could be wrong and opened for suggestions. Thanks!

I am sure that someone is running Chief on Apple. If someone is running this on the Mac Book Pro can you send me your system configuration. I am thinking about buying a Mac but need some feed back on what others may have experienced.

I have had this problem forever and I am sure someone out there has a simple fix. I cannot seem to get the top and bottom lines on the layout to print out. Everything else is fine so I have not given it much thought. I have adjusted my plotter to shorten up the top and bottom margins, but same results. I am now using X6 and of course the problem is still there. It is my issue I know but spare me and enlighten me if you will. I have actually gone to the ARCH D layout template but do not want to mess it up. Thanks!

My undo and redo go rather quickly but I do not have it in X5 or any other previous versions. I can live with it for now. But something did change and I do not think my hard drive slowed down by a factor of 3 seconds. Thanks for the responses...

In X6 I get a window that pops up saying undo file...... Normal
