  1. Using X8 Why are the symbol sizes different when I place them on the drawing from the Library? Is there a way to make them the same scale size? Electrical.pdf
  2. Thanks all, I would not have been able to figure this out without all of your help.
  3. Hi Glen, Your method worked fine, except I can't find a way to close in the areas of the invisible walls What is the magic solution? I am using X8, if that means anything.
  4. Tried both methods, but can't get results I want. This is a one story house with a cathedral ceiling in the center section. I believe I have seen a video that shows how to pull down a wall that enclosed a stairwell in a room with a cathedral ceiling, but I don't know the correct wording to recover the video.
  5. How do I maintain a closet wall height of 9' in a room that has a cathedral ceiling? In the 3d view, the wall extends to the cathedral ceiling. I want the ceiling of the closet to serve as a shelf for decorative items. Avon Catalog | Target Red Card | Target Ad
  6. I would like to have the stacked stone texture to be shown on my elevation views and not the stacked stone pattern. The pattern view is one color and cad lines representing the stone. The stacked stone texture has a 3d appearance and is in multiple colors. This makes for a more attractive elevation view. Is there a way to accomplish what I want?
  7. Thanks again, It always easy when you know what your doing. For that you get a gold star.
  8. I did not explain my problem correctly. On my plot plan, when I open the polyline specification display, I select under Line Style the boxes that " Show Angle, Show Length, Show All Angles. It displays on the plot plan, but the print is so small I can't read it without zooming in to see the length and angle. This is the text size I want to increase.
  9. Well, back again. Have my plot plan finished , but when I send it to layout I can't read the co-ordinates. How can I change the text size on the plot plan so it can be read on the layout?
  10. Thank you very much. If I had looked to my left, and saw the input line menu I would not have a problem. Maybe I should go back to my retirement that I started 20 years ago.
  11. I never encountered this problem before. Using X5. My plot plan will not show the lines between the point markers. The set up is on the Plot Plan Set. I have Cad, Defaults - Cad, Plot Plan - Cad, Default Lines - Cad, Default Patterns turned on. When I start the plot plan the North Arrow is positioned. Then I input the data and the point markers locate on the screen in the correct positions that I inputted. All input markers are visable, but no lines between the input markers. If I draw cad lines manually the lines appear so what is causing the lines not to appear when inputting Plot plan data? Been using Chief since Version 10 and this is a first for me. Maybe I'm just getting too old, since I can't solve this problem.
