Hello, I built an interior short wall in a room and I tried to install a door in the wall but Chief just cut an opening in the wall instead. The ceiling hieght is 10'-10" but the shorter wall is 8' feet high not all the way to the ceiling. I need to put doors into the shorter walls. Any suggestions. Thanks Vinnie Using X8

Hello, I've been trying to import some Keuka (Ithaca) deck railing newel post into CA for a deck I'm designing but without much luck. A gentleman at Keuka sent me 2 files that hat the railings I want but I can't seem to open them in CA. Thanks Vinnie

Hello, I'm drawing a deck and I need to use Keuka Ithaca cable rail system, both 36" inch deck mounted post and fascia mounted post. I tried to download some drawings from Keuka but I can't import the images into Chief. If anyone can me on how to import these post or already have some made up I'd be grateful for your assistance. Hello, I'd like to import a new color by Trex decking into Chief. The bonus catalog in Chief doesn't have this new color so I'd like to import it from Trex by I don't know how, any ideas? Please help. Vinnie

I fixed my own problem; for some reason when I attached the lower deck to the house on the left side the room dialog got messed up, I'm not sure why. I pulled the lower deck away from the house and now I can open the rooms individually.

Hello, when I right or left click on a room to open the room dialog all the rooms on my plan go grey, and only the room specification box comes up. Hi, the little blue circle keeps come on when I'm working in Chief and in some other programs. But in Chief I can't go 30 seconds without the little blue circle spinning around holding me up in a big way and it spins for a little while but it's constant. It looks to me like you built the deck with railings then made the invisible and the attached the Keuka rails to the band joist. The problem I'm having is getting the post and cable into my library from your model. Any thoughts? Vinnie
