    I am doing a commercial building design, and now I can't find any vinyl cove base in any of the libraries. I made my own molding profile from a cad drawing from Johnsonite. Tell me, does Chief not have any vinyl cove base profiles or is it just me?

    They have 1x12 shiplap (thicker than 3/4") How do they have ship lap in the interior? What is thicker then 3/4" ? on both sides of the studs How do they have shiplap in the inside? Should't be Lath and Plaster? and below the ceiling joists (sometimes on top too). Would that be lath and plaster? 1/4" drywall on the inside Again, lath and plaster? Drywall was later, this is 1890 and wood siding on the exterior. how thick the wood siding? 2x4 rafters at 24" O.C. with 3/4 shiplap. Thanks!

    I am trying to create short walls that are stuccoed on a top deck. I have designated the top to level to be a deck and segmented the walls the deck walls. I can make the front top deck wall stucco. but not the sides. Attached is a jpeg. Any comments would be welcome.

    Hello all you Chief Experts. I am trying to built a custom deck panel for a deck design. What comes with Chief is not what the customer wants. Support suggests that I build it in Chief, but I already built it in Sketchup, including the entire assembly, I could export/import as a CAD object or CAD, but I I want the quickest way, the has a lot of parts and I want it very specific to the design. I have attached a PDF from (Sketchup) Layout. Thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated. I am using Chief X6 on a PC 64 Dual Quad Eric Breuer Decoration Arts 707-514-7278

    I created a dormer roof with a 3.75 pitch. All works well except that the wall adjoining the roof doesn't stay flush. When I make it flush, it goes through the roof. What am I missing from the dialog box? I am using Chief Architect X6 on a dual core Windows 7.

    Sketchup by Trimble 2014 Pro has many more files to save as. My suggestion would be to save as a 3DS. My experience is it is the most recognizable. for Chief X6. If you do not have Sketchup Pro, yo may download it for a trial period.
