  1. OKAY! NVM, I figured it out. I reopened the plan and I took the camera view to facing the bottom side of the board and it allowed me to grab it and delete it. Yeah!!! Very weird though.
  2. I had a deck built under this roof. I copied one of the deck boards and moved it to where it is seen in the attached pics. When I let go, my plan.file did not. It will not let me delete this board that is now floating in the air in my way! The first thing I did was try to grab it to delete. Well, apparently it is still tied to deck that I had build with railing under that roof (covered porch) so it grabs the whole deck not the individual deck board. Then I decided to use the undo command and it undid things I did before this happened so the undo command ignored the step I took to copy this deck board from the actual deck. Then I decided to delete the whole deck in hopes that that board would disappear. Nope, no deck now but I still get to keep the floating board! In plan view, this board does not appear but in section view or 3d view its there. I have rebuilt the foundation (I have noticed this simple step fixes lots of weird things CA does) I have saved andclosed this plan and reopened it to see if it is gone but nothing changes. Attached are two pics. of the floating board in two of my attempts to make it go away. Also is the plan.file (DENTON) that if you want to take a stab at it, fell free. I could use the help if anyone would kindly fix this for me so I can continue on with my project. I'm spending way to much time here on this issue... DENTON.plan
  3. Yes I have used this method before. Accept I do not understand what you mean by I need to draw both the crown and flat stock profiles. with polylines. When I go into the lintel dialog box I can only choose one profile for my lintel. So when I chose the crown I wanted It had no flat stock below when playing around with the lintel. That said, I believe you are saying I am supposed to manually draw both profiles and so using the molding polyline tool and place them on the window as needed. I will look into this. I always get frustrated dealing with molding polylines. i need to practice more with it... Thanks for you advice!
  4. Ok I did this but unfortunately it does not work. I need my lintel on the window to be a flat profile 5.5 inches tall like the picture and Then around the top of that lintel, I want to ADD the crown profile of my choosing. Adding the crown as my profile for my lintel replaces my 5.5 inch flat lintel, I don't want that... So I need to figure out how to make an actual symbol I guess with the crown I want I want so I can put on whatever I want anywhere. OR if I can just figure out how to flip the profile crown I have drawn to stand upright. I keep opening it in its dialog box and there is nothing to flip it.
  5. Okay sounds like a plan Thanks.
  6. Yes I have downloaded TwinMotion. I have been in the process of learning how to take my chief plans into it. I will check out Rene's YouTube Thanks!
