  2. I remember way back 1990s Chief was working with a company down under that was going to use parts of Chief to create models in chief that could then be exported to software to fabricate with a CFS metal roll forming machine. I think it might have been Scottsdale? Any how we bought a nice roll former and I have been working on how to export my designed from Chief over to the roll formers software. Most will use Autocad with Revit to make the models and ten export over to the machines software to do the design of each part to be roll formed out of the machine. I see there are a few 3D model export options in the latest version but I got like zero help from Chief with I called them on the phone, like they could care less to be helpful... I am a user from way way back and have completed well over 3,000 projects with Chief Architect software. I would love it if I was able to work out how to take my designs from Chief and export over to my machine software to complete the design of each part of the home. My machine can build every part of a building, foundation, walls, roof making "C" channel profiles from 2x2, 2x4, 2x6 and 2x8. It have many punch stations so it dimples, punches and prints a part number on every peace. Web joist can span missive long spans. Any advice or ideas welcome.
