MoeGia, awhile back you were kind enough to send me the X1 dongle not one but two! Ok this is the follow-up. So was not able to find anyway to make windows 11 recognize the dongle. Sad. Before this adventure I had X1 running on windows 10. Up graded (2022) hardware and windows 11 on my pc., had to re-install "all". So in 2018 I also did an up grad and with windows 10 on ssd. X1 couldn't find my dongle then so I called Chief and they then sold me ($150) a new CD key that would allow me to run X1 without dongle, I did it did.
Now on to my resolve. After explaining my situation to Kim at CA she had a solution. She reassigned my X1 to a new Key and enter it into the CA system and it worked. X1 running on windows 11! I've called CA in the past, before my original post here, and there was no help forth coming. But I found my $150 charge from CA and Kim found it in her system and granted me my solution. Thx Kim! Anyone need an X1 dongle or 2?
