Thank you for the answer. Thats what I do, I double click on the plan to open it in edit mode, and then I export it, however when I open the autocad file it is empty in the the model window. Its not there, how do I make it show in the autocad?

I need to convert my plans from Chief to dwg. I have 8 pages of layout. I tried to export it by each plan but when I export its a blank page in autocad however when I try to export the whole layout page its all jumbled up in autocad. How do I fix this? How do I make it look right in autocad? Any asap help would be appreciated. BTW, on autocad they show up in the layout windows but not in the model window

I am doing an electrical plan for an entire home and there are a few things Im not sure how to put on the plan. For example an outlet for refrigerator? Sinks garbage disposal? garage door panel (one on the ceiling)? switch for a gas fireplace, etc. Are there any good websites where I could see how these sybmols look and how they're addressed on the legend? Thanks

How can I place a microwave in the base cabinet? I've been trying for several hours now, and I couldnt find any tutorials on that except on placing it in the full height cabinet. do I need a specific microwave for that? or perhaps a drawer microwave?

probably thats what I did, how do i get it back?

so I recolored my kitchen cabinets and countertops, and every time i open the file the kitchen is black and white, the only time i can get my color back is pressing the final view option. this problem occurred after I pressed toggle textures, and after that every time I open the file it is in a toggle view texture. is there a way to switch it back to my original colors, so that way when i open its in colors not in black and white

At the bottom of the horizontal cabinet, it has a round base, not sure how else to call it, How am i able to create that in chief?

But if I have both same year home designer and chief architect, will I be able to open back and forth?
