How can I "turn off" everything below my terrain (top of grade) in the auto elevations. I've been reading for 30 minutes and can't find it. Thanks

Is it possible, in a single run of stairs, to have different widths? I am wanting to have the stairs frame out to the edge of a wall for the first four or five treads and then step into the inside of the wall as they continue?

I've had no problems on a horizontal sided house. I haven't had a chance to try a new house with horizontal siding to see if it's there b&b siding.

I've never edited any numbers, don't know how. The icon used to be a 90 degrees angled trim but it's not anymore. I'll check into size when I can. Let me know if you know anything about the icon changing. This is the first b&b house I've done and that may be a difference. I also can't click in the dropper and get it to copy properties for your siding??? Any clues? Thanks everyone

Good evening everyone, I have a few questions on walls and siding. I'm trying to do a bonus room and I have a wall on my bonus room level and it's creating a line in my siding, see attached. Also, why has my cornerboard icon changed looks and why can't I do corner boards on this house. I'm not sure what these additional lines are for, note the ones that don't go to the overhang. Also why do I have this vertical cut line in my fascia and not on the rest of my gables? I've had a little issue with my gable walls and 2nd story walls.

Ok I wasn't sure and couldn't find anything in the forum to help on my topic. when I open my email and see my replies from The forum, can I reply in my email or do I always have to go to the Post in the forum to reply? I searched for bands and belly bands and couldn't find anything in the help. I did try the wall material region but I was hoping for something I could set the height on, like 6" tall, etc. I've just got to keep working with it I guess. I also want to try the polyline thing. I had to quit early tonight. I'll let you know what I can figure out. The down time is killing me. Thanks guys

Good evening everyone, is there a simple way to add horizontal bands to my siding on the elevation views. Like the trim board at the bottom and sometimes overhang on houses with batten and board siding?

Good evening everyone, I don't know any other way to say this, and I may have forgotten to check or uncheck something, but when select build roof, I've checked build planes, trusses, set my oh, boxed eaves and let it do it's thing. It's all hipped like normal but I can't get a wall to "gable". Any clues, any questions? Thanks

Good afternoon everyone, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I've created a basement from my main level and my main level interior walls, actually all of them for that matter, are showing up red in the basement. How can I turn this off so I don't see the other level walls when going from floor to floor? Thanks

I know how to search, heck it's what I do first for about the first 3 or 4 topics I can come up with but when I can't find the answer, I result to what I think would be the quickest. I am extremely screwed on time for the next 2-3 months of my life, I have people dragging out changes every other day of their life, people waiting on rough drafts, and the worst part is my lack of family time. I'm actually trying to grow this into a business for my wife and she gets it, but my son does not. I have a 40 hour a week day job and then I come home and work till midnight. Plus, I can't just take off watching videos shooting from the hip. Then I've wasted time watching the wrong video, 1 doesn't tell all and sometimes doesn't explain with enough detail to answer the main question at hand. I thought it was fortunate that people are still up and reading forums on the other side of the continent that can help but dang I'm just asking for a, "okay, go here, click this and do this." Gene helped, at least I got the command to try and read about later. I mainly start with the help, it doesn't require internet, then I'll look for a SHORT video. But you'd think a question would just be the quickest and best. It's like asking the Riddler or Cliff from Cheers or maybe Wilson from Home Improvement. This is also why I'd like to have that one friend that knows a decent amount, doesn't have to be a genius, but I could pm and just get an answer. I know if you asked me how to degree a camshaft, setup an 8-3/4 rear end or build a Holley carb heck, I'd make you a video if that's what it took. I'm just swamped but blessed with the work, everyone wants it while banks are giving away money and I'm just trying to get it done asap. Any and all help is appreciated!

I use my phone for everything, I hotspot but don't have a ton of data available for it. I can't sit on the internet all the time and it's a little of a pain to take screenshots or such, download to my phone just to post. I watch all training videos on my phone it's just getting pics for reference that I'm not really doing. Thanks
