Do you have any experience with Top Chord Bearing Trusses? I can make a truss look the way I want using the Cross Section Tool, but then the truss plan does not match. The top Chord extension is held back to the inside notch of the truss.

Has anyone had any success with building a top chord-bearing floor truss? I can make a truss look the way I want using the Cross Section Tool, but then the truss plan does not match. The top Chord extension is held back to the inside notch of the truss. If I then stretch the envelope, the truss rebuilds, and all my work is gone. I am very frustrated with this since I cannot show the truss design as I need it.

When I add Rails to a porch the columns do not lay out as required. I want to remove the post and leave the beam. Is this possible or do I need to make the wall invisible and just add them manually?
