  1. Thanks for the quick response. It was the selecting all the cabinets that I was forgetting about. so easy. thanks And I tried selecting another cabinet and the icon was there. No idea why it didn't show up when I selected the sink base of the vanity. But the drawer base worked. thanks again
  2. I am trying to change all the cabinets in a plan after I have it finished. The doors style was a flat panel and then my client decided to do a shaker full overlay. I can do them one at a time. Or I can change the default cabinet settings and apply them one at a time to each cabinet. But I remember watching a video where he was able to make a change on one cabinet and then apply it with a click to all the rest of the cabinets in the plan. But I cannot find that video or figure it out. The material painter doesn't change the door styles , just colors and finishes. etc. Also in another video it showed how you can make a change to one cabinet and then click on the icon on the bottom bar to make it the default. But that icon is not there in my X12. Or am I missing something? I know I can open the defaults and set it there but changing one cabinet and then saving it as my default seems so much quicker. But I cannot figure that out. thanks Elliot Gesang Gesang Remodelling Graham Washington x12 on Windows 10
  3. Thanks I will look for a video or a discussion in the knowledge base about creating a new material. Elliot
  4. I have been Using X12 for better part of year now and love it. I am using the material properties and definition dialog box to edit my tiles for bathrooms to get as close to the client selections as possible. The only property I cannot find a way to change is the grout color and maybe the grout width. I often use a 4x12 white subway in the shower with a contrasting grout line but I am having a hard time figuring that part out. I read about taking one individual tile and mapping it over a darker background but I have not tried that. Is there a simple way to do this? thanks Elliot Gesang Remodling Graham Washington Chief Architect X12
  5. I upgraded from Pro to Chief X12 and I'm loving it. And learning it. I cannot find any sign of the "Save Active Camera" icon on the icon bar. Per the reference manual for X12 It should be there. Or I should be able to do 3D/Save Active Camera from the menu bar. But there is no such option in the 3D menu either. So to save a camera I found a work around. I turn on the cameras in my plan view in Active Layer Display Options so I can see the camera itself. Then I select the camera, open it, and there is a check box for saved. And I can rename it there. So it is a workaround but am I missing something or will the Icon be added to the toolbar? thanks Elliot Gesang Gesang Remodeling Graham Washington Chief Architect X12
